Brick Column Cutter
The brick column cutter is designed to cut continuous clay strips extruded from the brick extruder into standard mud column sections with customizable lengths. It precisely conveys the cut columns to the subsequent brick cutting machine for continuous production.
We offer two models to accommodate diverse production processes: vertical section cutter and circular cutter. The machine supports fully automatic cutting and flexible length adjustment.
The vertical section cutter features neat vertical cutting, minimal leftover materials, low blank damage and high working efficiency, ideal for stable and high-yield brick production lines.

Clay Brick Cutter
The clay brick cutter is specially engineered to cut continuous strips extruded from the extruder into standard mud column sections as required, then convey the cut blanks to the subsequent brick cutting machine. To suit various production processes, we provide two types: vertical section cutter and circular cutter.
It supports adjustable cutting length and fully automatic operation.
The vertical cutting model delivers straight cutting, less waste residue and high production efficiency.
Structure and Working Principle
The complete cutting system mainly includes a pneumatic column cutter and a light-duty brick cutter.
The pneumatic column cutter is composed of a base frame, motor, transmission arms, cylinder unit, portal frame, guide rods and buffer components. It cuts long mud columns and rapidly transports qualified brick columns to the next cutting procedure.
The light-duty brick cutter adopts a welded frame structure, equipped with driving rollers, cutting assemblies, power drive devices, braking systems and safety guardrails. Core components include motors, reducers, linkage arms, connecting rods and pushing heads, ensuring stable and durable operation.
Working Principle
Brick Column Cutting
The pneumatic column cutter completes mud column cutting. When the extruded clay column enters the portal frame and touches the resistance roller, the positioning mechanism takes effect.
The synchronous pulley moves forward with the clay column to trigger the induction switch.
The control system activates the cutting cylinder, which drives the steel wire to cut off the mud column. After cutting, the portal frame opens automatically, and the finished mud column is conveyed out by high-speed rollers. The pulley resets automatically for the next cutting cycle.
Brick Forming Cutting
The transported clay column is guided to the positioning guard plate by table rollers. Once detected by the photoelectric switch, the separation cylinder acts to engage the transmission linkage. The motor power is decelerated by the reducer and gearbox, driving the crank-rocker mechanism to push the mud column through the cutting steel wire for precise slicing. When the pusher retracts, the reset tension device restores the separation structure, and the pusher returns to the standby position with precise braking, ready for continuous cyclic cutting.
